PersianKitty 11-26-2003 07:03 PM

According to edmunds.com, a 98 Cavalier 2door with the options and mileage you listed in clean condition would go for $3500 US if buying from a private party.

nofx 11-26-2003 07:04 PM

get a toyota or honda, they will last you longer, domestic cars dont really run well past 200k+ miles:thumbsup

$8k? This is a joke right... ?

Simple answer, NO. Don't pay ANY amount for that car. Stay far, far away from the Chevy Cavalier, it's a pile of shit. You would be better off getting a Hyundia. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

zentz 11-26-2003 07:45 PM

whut ? :BangBang:

TheLegacy 11-26-2003 07:49 PM

check the insurance company and bank black /blue book on the value. If you dont have time for that - then check the net to see if other cars with that year are listed for that price. Autotrader is a good place to start.

Most of the time people trying to sell their car always add a few thousand out of sentimental reasons.
