PSW Ceases Processing.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, PSW Billing has been forced to cease processing.

This situation has caused great distress for our staff, and of course for our clients.
We appreciate the continued support and positive feedback from our concerned friends and collegues as we continue our fight on the legal front.

PSW will remain in business and continue to fight for clients' funds for as long as it takes. All clients will be paid in full as funds are released by the banks. We will keep you informed in future emails.

Rest assured that any outstanding payouts due to you are currently 100% intact and have not been fined or assessed in any way. Our lawyers are working diligently to have all funds released and available for immediate payout as we receive them. We truly appreciate your patience in bearing with us while this is being sorted out. We understand the hardship this has placed on everyone, so please understand that we are doing everything in our power to get your money to you as quickly as possible.

As a sign of good faith, PSW has made arrangements for a smooth transition of your accounts to Jettis, at a deeply discounted rate of 12%. This rate is guaranteed for 6 months from activation. In addition, Jettis has agreed to maintain the discounted rate of 12% for as long as your chargeback ratio stays below .75%.

All that is needed from you to take advantage of the 12% rate is to reply to this email with the URLs you wish to setup. We will facilitate the transfer of your account to Jettis as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Again, although we have ceased processing, our remaining staff will be continuing to 'fight the fight' for this industry, and to retrieve 100% of your funds.

We hope to have your continued support through these difficult times.

Sincerely,
PSW Billing

I've been waiting for this day, can't say I'm surprised. At least they seem to be shutting down smoothly. I can't imagine how they can 'stay in business' if they are no longer processing though.

Darren, where did you see this? Was it a broadcast email or something else?

Darren 11-26-2003 07:20 AM

just checked my email and it was there, client notice.

If they do in fact shut down smoothly and pay us webmasters then John and the team really do need a pat on the back.

I am sure they have made a lot of profit themselves as well out of the venture.

Will be interesting, not holding much hope of seeing my $$ though.

Damn... thats a surprise for me.

I hope it goes on smoothly and that no paysite owner or affiliate looses money (or too much money) because of it.

PSW was always very good in my book and I hope their crew succeed in their next ventures.

Lets also hope CCBill, Epoch and Jettis STAY!

Bruno :thumbsup

... and then there were three.

well a lot of us have lost money in this. We hope to get whats owed.. lets see what happens. If PSW have stopped processing then surely the time is now for the banks to give the money.

I never really paid much attention to PSW. From viewing the webpage, it appears they were doing things legit like CCBILL and the others. Since they were making users pay the $750 I'm confused as to how the users have no repercussions.

Aren't you registered with Visa now so they know who you are?

Why isn't Visa just killing the accounts instead of everybody as a whole at one company?

This just reinforces why having your own merchant account guarantees you the little peace of mind in actually OWNING your customers. Why take the risk? For just the scrubbing they do and customer support? From what I get, Netbilling seems to all it for you and you still get your customers and a good % from the bank.

Netbilling, I'm with you. Mitch was always right.

The longer they take to get knocked out the more class they exit with.

Folks if you need processing I can offer CC Processing for less than 10 % via a contact of mine - just mail me -

Not counting on our money back from PSW $10k and haven't heard a peep from them for a long time, perhaps they have our wrong email but 12% at jettis isn't bad. Glad they stood up to take the business.

Hi fsfaz,

We are happy to work with you. However, we are sad to see any company have troubles though. The PSW crew are a good bunch and I hope things turn around for them.

Mitch
