Robber writes note on back of his own cheque
Authorities in the US are looking for a man who held up a bank after writing a demand note on the back of a personal cheque.
The FBI in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is searching for Mike Mikitka in connection with several recent bank robberies.
They are warning members of the public that the 35-year-old is dangerous, reports The Pittsburgh Channel.
Police say they identified Mikitka as the man behind one of the robberies because he passed a cashier a note written on a personal cheque. It carried his name, address and bank account number.
Mikitka has allegedly handed a cashier a note in all the robberies, police said. Though the suspect didn't show a weapon, the FBI's Robert Smith said Mikitka is "not in his right state of mind" because of possible drug use.
