I have never used ARS, so why send me a password to an account I have never opened?

tootie 11-26-2003 03:11 AM

I got one.

The same email or one with your own password?

tootie 11-26-2003 03:14 AM

The password in mine was not my password, and my original one still works.

J B 11-26-2003 03:17 AM

Do you guys have an account with BetaBrigade? If so, they opened an ARS account for you when you joined.

We have four ARS accounts and the only one we got this email for was the one BetaBrigade opened for us. We never even used that account.

Never used betabrigade, quite frankly i thought it was someone trying to access my sponsor password, kinda releived you guys got that too

Dirty F 11-26-2003 03:24 AM

I think someone is infected with a virus and the virus spoofed your email to send itself out to other emails found in the internet explorer cache.
Maybe they thought you sent a virus on purpose to them and replied with kiss my ass.

tootie 11-26-2003 03:30 AM

I don't know how to explain those that got the e-mails that have never used ARS or Beta Brigade, but maybe someone thought it would be funny to enter a bunch of account numbers at random into the lost password box.

No viruses here & I never go to ARS or there sites so no reason to email me.
