Whatever you do don't go back to the crutches or buy a cane or anything like that. Tough it out, you'll heal up a lot faster. It sucks but it is the best way.

yeah I tried that and I tasted the floor

so then I put on my hiking boots and laced them up real tight so neither ankle would flex, it seems to work better

i gotta work on my left leg strength, its just too shaky to walk more than a few steps, so i'm dragging the ultimate gym out of the closet tomorrow

i would have been doing strength exercises the whole time but doc said absolutely no weight bearing whatsoever because of the bone graft :(

I remember learning to walk again after my accident, and I decided to learn how to shoot pool in my spare time. It works.

I've broken a few bones in my life... best thing to do is exercise your leg and ankle.. try to bend it a little more each day in both directions.. it will slowly come back.. btw what ever happened with the driver?

Yeah I've already been thru three months of physical therapy to get the knee to bend, it pretty much locked up when they put in the steel plate and screws... just wasnt much they could do for my ankle becuse of the bone graft, didnt want to take a chance on it not healing properly

as for the driver... for right now, he thinks he got away with it
he's in for a big surprise when the detectives show up :)

the only things that cops move fast on is murders and drugs

Only 2 hit & run detectives in Las Vegas and they are pretty backlogged. He will get whats coming to him, hit & run with injuries is a felony here.

The guy really has nowhere to go. He may think he got away with it, but the cops have his location, my attorney has his location, and Uhaul isnt pleased with him over this lawsuit.
