Michigan could whoop on LSU's punk asses! Why the hell are they ahead of us?

Does not matter - they will lose to Arkansas and they can go home to watch some real teams play! I bet you USC is going to lose also this week .

Michigan did not play a terrific game. We played a shitty one last weekend. They still allowed 21 points for our crappy offense.

We'll beat the hell out of you bunch of Big 10 losers if we don't end up stomping a mud hole in OU.

When the Rose Bowl is not the National Championship game it is between the Big-10 Champ and the Pac-10 champ, if USC goes to the Sugar Bowl that would mean it will be Michigan vs. Washington State. That would leave Orange or Fiesta for LSU

SEC will most likely get the bid to the rose this year, it's pretty much already decided that if things stand the way they are, Michigan will face the SEC champ in the rose bowl.

edit - as reported by ESPN last night this may change and LSU may wind up in fiesta bowl, but it's lookin like SEC will be playing the rose this year, dont ask me why

pornJester 11-25-2003 11:59 AM

USC got lucky that Michigan beat Ohio St.

I'm waiting for is the UF-FSU matchup this weekend. That's going to be a good game.

Btw Gators laid the smack down on LSU, who would otherwise have gone undefeated.

GonePhishing 11-25-2003 12:02 PM

Well, as a person who bleeds maize and blue I think that LSU is ranked ahead of us because it has less losses. I think that we would have been ranked higher than LSU but when our team laid to eggs at games they should have won, it cost us the sugar in the end.

The I think the chances that LSU will drop one to arkansas who beat texas or in the SEC championship game are strong, and if that happens we will jump them in the polls.

USC will more than likely beat beavers, but who know for sure. They did have a strange on against CAL.

To, the OSU fan who claims that Michigan did not play well... Your super defense gave up 5 TD's to our offense. You were getting beat by 3 touchdowns most of the game. I'd call that good game play by U of M. If that game were played again and again and again the outcome would not change. Michigan was a far superior team this year and the final 14 point beating OSU took reflected that.

Yes, they gave up 21 points to your offense, and let's not say OSU played shitty. They played with heart in that rivalry game and that's why they put those 3 scores up. They earned them, and played well for them. It just wasn't enough to keep up with Michigan.

As far as Michigan playing Washington State. With them losing this weekend it is very unlikely. They have a fan base that does not travel well and they have 3 losses. The rose bowl comittee will likely take Texas or LSU as the other spot in the rose bowl. This is of course saying that LSU and USC do not stumble, because if they both do, michigan will go to the sugar bowl.

Personally, I love seeing Michigan in the Rose Bowl for the sake of tradition.

M GO BLUE

Let me know how much you want to put on the sugar bowl;-) Best team, I guess you do not watch teams out of CA? As an OU fan, I am more worried playing LSU then USC.

GonePhishing 11-25-2003 12:17 PM

By the way, I was in Ann Arbor for the game, and I just wanted to say that the OSU fans were very classy. I really was impressed with how they handled themselves. Very polite, and very fun to talk to.

Come to LSU for real hospitality. We're all full of class down here.

As you should be. A USC/OU title game would be a blowout...and thats not to say LSU would beat OU, but it would be a bit closer with their defense.

Toolz 11-25-2003 01:23 PM

Sadly a tournament system is definetly needed. What happened to Big10 champs vs Pac10 champs in the Rose Bowl? Or did BCS destroy that years ago and it's just happened to be that way the last couple of years?
