spam versus drunk driving

A spammer can serve 5 years for sending an email, although postal junk mail and telemarketing is legal.

AND a drunk driver can kill an innocent person and only server 1 year.

Your less of a criminal if you kill someone versus spamming someone.

Amazing..

haha I just read this:

"A provision of an intelligence spending bill will expand the power of the FBI to subpoena business documents and transactions from a broader range of businesses -- everything from libraries to travel agencies to eBay -- without first seeking approval from a judge. Under the Patriot Act, the FBI can acquire bank records and Internet or phone logs simply by issuing itself a so-called national security letter saying the records are relevant to an investigation into terrorism."

what the fuck does an Ebay business have to do with terrorism?

I don't know where you think you live... but where I come from, If someone gets hit by a car, and alcohol is even remotely involved... This person WILL go to trial until proven innocent...

If the driver is completely sober, and is legal (liscence, insurance, tags up-to-date, etc.) then there is no charges pressed.

DUI first offense, usually 24 hours... 2nd offense usually 48 hours, then thirty days, then ninety days, then a year...

In Mississippi, college kid was driving drunk and hit a girl and killed her. He got sentence to one year. I'll try to find the article.

what does this mean? they are illegally logging everything we do but no one can look at it unless the fbi wants to? i'd think if they log you no matter what you did it wouldn't hold up in court..

dude, in Texas if you're a cross dressing millionaire you can shoot someone in 'self defense'....then get scared...then chop them into little pieces...then throw them in the water....then get a 'not guilty' verdict...

No need... the phrase "college student" says it all... the kid has a sraight head, and a bright future... a little rehab and he could be president.

Besides, with that on your side and Daddy's money, A lawyer could easily have the case thrown out...
