OK. Traffic is coming in S L O W L Y. Ran all night and only took 500+ uniques according to the traffic campaign interface.
Here's some observations: Counted hits: Porngraph is my counter. Not showing anywhere NEAR 500 hits for the landing page. Server logs (webalizer) showing more than PG but still not 500. Quickbucks stats showing NOWHERE close to 500. Sales: None. Ad: http://invizibletouch.com/112403TT/ Any thoughts? |
BTW, traffic is North American ONLY.

I have tried running campaigns like these many times with traffic from a broker. My results were terrible.
Like you are doing I like to track with porngraph and raw server logs. Everytime I purchase traffic from the broker I never see more then 5% of the traffic actualy hit the page. The brokers like to say that third party counters are unreliable (and they can be) but server logs don't lie. What I think may be happening (taking into consideration that the traffic is pop under and/or exit traffic) is the surfers either are running pop up blockers or closing the window before the page fully loads. With each hit being counted by the brokers script when the page is called for it makes no difference if a pop up blocker or the surfer closes the window. You pay for the hit. I cant think of any other reason for terrible returns short of getting totally lied to about the traffic (huge exit chains etc.). My last campaign I tested to a 4free sponsor was a 10k pop under campaign. Porngraph recorded less then 100 hits to the page total. Server logs showed around 500 hits and the sponsor received 13. All from a FPA that pulls me a 22% ROI with PPC Search engine traffic. I hope yours works out better. In theory it sounds nice when you purchase that traffic. We would all be rich if it worked that way. :winkwink: |
too early to comment but i dont have expectations :glugglug

if I were a surfer why should I click that ad? |
the fpa your using sucks:2 cents:
|
Thanks for the insight Furious_Male. Sounds exactly like my current situation statistically.
Is the ad REALLY that bad? My thought is since the surfer is clicking an ugly text link in a pop-up that it's more appealing on the eyes to see some skin. |

hey dirty. i'd have to agree, i dont think you'll make any/many sales with that ad.
hit me up before sending more traffic and i can help you get an ad that draws clicks out of the surfer. my only other thought is that that is pretty graphically heavy for a console. a lot of surfers are probably closing before the ad has even displayed on their screen. sorry bud, i think this is a lesson that all of us have had to learn on our own at one point in time. i also agree, the source of the traffic *could* be ripping you off. |
Good luck! Change your ad! :thumbsup
|
Thats an interesting green.
|
Ad changed. Thanks Hooper. :thumbsup
