wesley clark on 60minutes

Hey, did anyone catch Wesley Clark interview on 60minutes which was on during past week or so?

I think he is running as Democrat.

He started crying about some people that were being killed in some war and said something like "the pornography of it is horrible."

I guess this might have different meaning than "sexual" but putting word "pornogrophy" in bad way probably isn't good for us.

Does anyone know much about this guy? It seems like he might be another Bush and be a anti-porn person.

:winkwink:

I don't get it why he is talking about war and pornography at the same interview. I though Democratics are more libral. But wesley clark used to be republican, as I heard.

Damn politicians.

well, if you look at word, it doesn't necesarrily have to have sexual meaning:

?Recent novels about the Holocaust have kept Hitler well offstage [so as] to avoid the... pornography of the era?

But, most people probably don't know this. I had to look it up in dictionary.

I don't think I'm going to vote for Clarke. Not only did he throw in pornography word, but he started crying about some people dying in some war saying that we need to do something about it. That is all we need is another Bush that wants to save all the fetuses and stop every conflict in the world with our shrinking dollars.

He started sort of a fake crying thing as if he planned to cry for political purposes.

Excuse me, I'm just bumping this fascinating thread...

I dont understand how he can represent the democrats.

he's like a placeholder in case Bush loses. more wars will happen. especially he's gonna be the excuse for pulling out of Iraq, and leaving that country in a mess, and move on the next one, because he is gonna suggest that Bush invaded the wrong country.
This is turning into a hidden dictatorship, and the people won't have any say in whether or not we should keep invading countries for future economic and strategic benefits.
Let's just hope no more civilians are sacrificed to create the illusions of threats and reasons to go to wars.
