And yes.. Orpah DOES have a very powerful voice.. and is good people..

When beef sales nationwide takes a noticable drop all because she said she wouldn't eat beef again.. now that's power..

Lots of interesting subjects on her show.. and sometimes.. just fun stuff...

My first job when i moved to Los Angeles was working for an executive potection firm that is regarded as "The Best".

Oprah was a very close personal friend of the owner of the company, and was even a guest on her show a few times.

I do think what she shows the public is very generous.

...however

You would not believe what a hateful mean bitch she is off camera...she treats staff terrible, and has no respect for people...snapping fingers...yelling...it would blow your mind.

When some of our team came back from working a detail with her the horror stories were some of the best i had ever heard...and we heard many.

I learned quickly in this town people are not always what they seem....

this is actually a pretty good scheme she's got going . .
first she buys the movie rights to some unknown novel for next to nothing ... then she gets millions of people who watch her show to read it ... then she sells the low budget made-for-TV movie of now-popular book for lots of $$$.

she is one of the most powerful women in the world not just entertainment. she has built an empire, pretty cool considering what she went through growing up. she is def. the hun of entertainment. if you get on oprah with an idea/invention/product you basically have it made.

Don't know who made her the guru, but if a book ends up on her show, it's pretty much an automatic best seller for awhile..
