Here's the skinny:

Police seized at least a dozen letters during the raid on Jackson's Neverland ranch last week.

"The district attorney is convinced these letters will be crucial to the case against Jackson," a source close to the investigation said yesterday.


"The boy told investigators about letters and poems and their precise location inside Michael's home. These letters were among the evidence seized, along with videotapes.


"They are very explicit and intimate and show a degree of familiarity. Basically, they appear to be love letters from Michael to the boy."


The accuser, 12-year-old Los Angeles cancer victim Gavin Arvizo, also told police Jackson's pet name for him was Rubba.


"The boy first told this to his therapist, then repeated it to police," the source said.

This is why I don't believe that this is just a get rich quick scheme this time...maybe the first time it was.

But the reason is because this kid has cancer...apparently he's in remission...but I don't think I could use my kid as a pawn for any amount of cash let alone a kid who could die at any time.

Life is short enough without having cancer hanging over your head, and I wouldn't put a kid through what could be the last years of his life being hounded by news people, and investigators *not just the police investigators but the private investigators used to destroy his story*, and having that child testify about really disturbing things all the while lying so you could score a few million...hell even 30 million...you wouldn't enjoy it at all...probably off yourself due to the guilt.

Over the weekend I read that Jackson already offered an undisclosed sum of cash to the kid and his family before all of this was made public, and the kid rejected it. That's how you know that this guy is FUCKED.

In 25 yrs when he gets out of jail, will he still have to go from house to house introducing himself as a child molestor to the neighborhood? Shit, that would make a great reality TV show. I heard that the lawyer representing the kid was the one to take him to the therapist. That has red flags all over it. I doubt we will ever know the truth.

Sneddon, the District Attorney, seemed very very confident at that press conference........if u think about Jackson, I think he feels he's above the law, or that it won't impact on him.......he feels he is living a privileged life...........that type of individual plays high risk games, like keeping tapes of things that happened between him and other individuals that can bite him in the ass, e-mails, perhaps these love letters...........

If there is anything like that, no matter if the parents of that child are totally dysfunctional or money-hungry, Jackson is sunk....

Lets hope so, because any reasonable person KNOWS he bought his way out of the last mess with the $12 million payout orchestrated by that horrible human being, Johnny Cochrane.

If he's guilty, I hope they show the world tangible physical proof and that his name goes down in flames in the worst possible way. That will end up being his legacy, and not his music.

Would a person guilty of molestation (in the first case brought against Jackson) turn around and write a song like D.S.?

The song D.S. clearly repeats over and over, "Tom Sneddon is a cold man" and has a great guitar solo by Slash.

Although Jackson was not found guilty in the first case and the case was settled, if he was guilty wouldn't it be in his best interest to not start provoking the D.A with a song stating he's an asshole?

Thats not true. the prosecutor is filing a criminal case. That has nothing to do with the boy filing a civil case.

I am not completely sure, but i think that Michael cannot settle with the boy and a then have a criminal case prosecuted at the same time. The boy is no longer a good witness or will agree not to testify as part of the settlement. Thats what happened last time.
