no.. why would it? people have already been scammed by that for years.. like pornkings "30 Days / 1 full month of instant access 4 a $1.00 NO BULLSHIT!" quoted straight off their site... so you say ahh it's 1$ no need to cancel it's only a buck .. probably didn't see the 2 cross sells. then after a month it's 40$ with no warning

the change between the number that bought wouldn't change enough to off set the difference in income.

but no mention was made of affiliate payout. so i'd assume you mean rev share.

another significant factor would be retention on various price points. we have several customers still billing from 2 years ago when we had a 14.95 join option. but my feeling is the difference still wouldn't be significant enough - - and that customers at the lower price points - my drop off fasters - especially if you advertise the price heavily - like free join/dollar join - you're setting yourself up for the cheapest smoes

Not at all. You would certainly not make more money.. even with an avarage rertention rate you would not come out ahead.
