xbox live.. wtf?
 

ok..im not an active gamer but decided to buy one of those xboxes just for the fuck of it..

Hooked it up to my network (my last game computer was a sega genesis so you can imagine the impact ;) and tried to setup
xbox live..

WTF... a game console asking me for my creditcard with the notice
"auto-renewed if you dont cancel within 2 months.."

Hey.. im a noob at games but this blows me away..hahaha

either join for the year or better yet go to hollywood video or a gamers place buy the headset and it includes the service for 1 year, if not buy star wars clone wars and you get 2 months free

1 year member ship required, renewed each year after.

A lot of online game services charge now.. look at any of the massively multiplayer RPGs. It's not a new concept.

i got both but to tell you the truth xbox is sooo much better, i currently have 50 ps2 games and am building up my xbox games which i only have 10 games, but both online systems are kick ass

I was just about to post a thread on this.. What is the best gaming system right now, I want to get one but not sure what to get. I think online gaming would be kinda fun too..

Unreal Championship is a lot of fun online. So is Wolfenstein. Wolfenstein online takes a little more patience and precision, but lots of fun all around.
