No longer smoke fee :(

Well I hope this is not a discouragement to those still trying to quit but I just smoked a cigarette and....

IT FELT DAMN GOOD

Sorry, hope you that are trying to quit can have more will power then me, keep it up and don't be a pussy and give in like me after 7 days :(

- Jesus Christ - 11-23-2003 05:24 PM

i used to smoke a LOT
but I switched to cigars. It makes you think twice about lighting up when it costs you $3+ each time.....

and you cant really inhale them but I dont crave cigarettes anymore at all.

I'm sure my breath doesnt smell too great though.

Get the patch!

BrentD 11-23-2003 05:32 PM

Damn was so excited about having that 1 cigarette I mispelled free (fee) in the subject of this post, hahaha.

But seriously, after a week of not smoking I can see a little difference in my breathing and I can honestly say now that I don't enjoy smoking anymore so I know this time around I will not smoke even half of what I smoked before which was a pack and a half a day.

I still want to stop smoking I just don't have the will pwer right now, maybe if I wasn't working on the computer 12-16 hours a day to earn a living I would be able to focus on other things to keep myself busy and not want to smoke at all, so if anyone has any job offers for a good quality photographer with digital photography and digital video production and editing skills that keep my on the studio floor and away from the compuetr most of the time I have an ear open adn I am interested in hearing about it, I am getting tired of shooting for myself, its time to shoot for someone else's benefit these days:)

I on my 6th day smoked 3 buts and a whole one said fuck this went and bought 40.00 worth of patches put on two of them at 12pm today and havent had a cig since so 4 more days of the patches i will not ever smoke again... its kool you feel off the wagon man dont let that stop you, just quit again and keep quiting till you do it for good.

Brent, did you try those Commit lozenges? That's what helped my husband quit. He has been smoke free for about a month now and he's almost stopped coughing completely. :)

Good luck. Hop back on the wagon ASAP.
