Is the Google update over?
 

Not hearing a lot of talk about this here considering it's importance. I know there are some deep Google types here and some thoughts would be interesting.

1) The dance is over and Google is filtering commercial results based on some sort of criteria.

2) The dance is not over and what we are seeing is a flaw.

I'm going with #2 untill the end of the year at least. Too much strange things happened the last few weeks.. those can't be gone like a snap..

They stopped mid-crawl on a bunch of sites. But the bots are still going strong.

Google will be 'dancing the night away'!

its never over, but this update might last and especially the way it was done will last. all they have to do is filter out those authorative websites which float at top for every search term (yahoo,amazon,...). they probably will downgrade pr a little bit.
