Easypic.com - Pay to submit - Scam?
 

First off my apologies for starting another thread on this topic. But unfortunately the other thread cannot answer this question.
I paid the $100.00 through an echeck, via Paypal. I can easily cancel this transaction through my bank tomorrow, if I need to, since it would take a couple of business days to clear anyhow.

My question is: Has anyone heard from Easypic.com confirming that this in fact real? I have sent him 3 emails since yesterday, but have not heard back from him.

And oddly, I did not recieve the offer, until AFTER I paid the money. Suddenly I recieved 3 emails about this, AFTER I had already paid the money. I thought that was odd.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks so much!:)

I even got 2 spams from them ...Sounds too good to be true

Why? He weeds out the cheaters and you can submit yuor galleries without problems.
Simple solution...i dont see the big deal why this would be a scam.

Would be nice to have the submit code mailed out to those who have paid then......wouldn't it. :)

Some sort of return email regarding your payment to them, would be nice and businesslike.:)

Not stating it was a scam...just sounds like its too good to be true for 100 bucks a year and up to 10 galleries per day.

I just mailed him about it...hopefully he will clear it up here...seems to be alot of confusion.

i have received like 10 of these at least so far in 2 days.
i dont think its a scam at all, but i do think easypic's traffic has dramaticaly decreased ever since he moved the cats to diff pages.
I hear its sending very little traffic to the links posted depending on the niche of course.

I remeber when you submit and get like 20-30 k a day from a tiny text link in one the cats and the traffic was good quality.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I noticed that the minimum thumbs is 8. Yet I looked, and cannot find any galleries with less then 12. Since I will be makin my own, will it be okay to submit them with only 8 thumbs? Would be much easier for me. :)

I'm sure it's real, good deal as well. Even if the traffic has dropped in quality a little...

I didn't get many hits at all in the galleries of mine that were listed there. I can't remember the exact numbers but it was probably less than 300 hits the first day it was up.

I sent my money a few hours ago and haven't heard back BUT I also know that it is a Sunday.

I was about to try it out myself, but will wait to see how you guys are doing with it...

dude 2-3 years ago OR SO (hehe been a while) easypic mailed me looking for partners, I was able to submit 10 galleries per day guaranteed to be listed (unreviewed) and was doing 50-70k per day from them.

today is less traffic to galleries, but 100$ per year is worth it I think.

I was just told by him everybody will get their passes within a few days...dont worry...its not a scam.

oh, I didn't think it was..been submitting to him for ages and he sends good traffic. If you can't make back your $100 in the first month you shouldn't be submitting.

Yup, thats my thought as well, its almost impossible not to make those 100 bucks back.

It doesn't say they'll list up to 10 galleries a day...it only says you can submit 10 a day ;) I don't see how its too good to be true at all, just a way to weed out cheaters.

Yes since he moved the categories to new pages the traffic has dropped heaps. It definately would have been worth the $100 before but maybe not now..:(

Its well worth it & is in reality no different to the current trusted submitter plan. So for those who say it sounds too good to be true, in effect its not much different to what is currently available.

Oh really? Its one thing to be a "trusted submitter", even then you are GIVING content to them. But its really another to have to pay for the priviledge of giving content away. I use only exclusive content, and i have to pay them just for the priviledge of trying to give it to them?!? Of course in theory you recieve traffic in return, but we all know that sometimes you recieve nothing. Hell, what they are really talking about is charging for the priviledge to submit, you may very well still not get listed. And does anyone think after you pay that some of the stupid rules they constantly dream up will be relaxed for you? No! It may be "worth it" right now, at least until you are looking at paying $100 to each of 100-150 different tgps. You might change your tune then.
Having said all that though, its only natural to have to pay for traffic in some way or another. I have long wondered for example, why the hun doesnt charge to submit or just for every spot. Maybe coming soon. In any event, if all this would somehow cut down the amount of free porn out there, i would be all for it. IF.
But its really just another tightening of the screw, and yet another sign that gallery submitting is not a very safe niche to be in.

I would never submit to a site that has "lolita" in their keywords.

3000 hits with a 10% click through to sponsor
300 per day time 30
9000 to sponsor converting at 1:900
$350 per month

So you need 27 more TGP deals like this one to make money.

I don't do a ton of this stuff so some of my assumptions might be shit.

From the new rules

"EasyPic is never obligated to list any gallery and has the right to not accept or remove a gallery without any given reason"

This is like thread #5 full of words like scammer, liar etc while the only thing he did is offering you a full year preferred sumbitter status for a lousy 100 bucks.

that is exactly how I read it..it is there to cover him if you change your gallery after listening, etc.

The rules are hardly unusual.

I got my info today.. I'll try it out during the submit.

We got our info today on it and paid him I think Friday, takes a couple of days...he's a busy man with this new deal!

The email stated "guaranteed" , the new rules page states
EVEN IF you follow everything , " never obligated to list any gallery".
That's out and out FALSE ADVERTISING and against the law
in many countries.

I want what I was promised, I want what I paid for, that's all.

I think Andre should be a good and honest business man and
hold to his advertised promises. I understand that there has
to be rules to keep the TGP generating good traffic, but he
now has customers, not submitters and he should atleast deliver
the goods. That last rule at minimal needs to be rewritten to
reflect what he promised all us people that shelled out the $100.

Nobody get a 10% clickthrough ever!! Anybody that says they do is full of shit..

Got mine, not that I doubted I wouldn't I just thought it might take a while with everyone getting them at the same time.

it's only $100 FCS. Fuck I spent more than that on Jager for GrimShawn on Saturday.
