Why are US casualties in Iraq never shown?

They never show any bodies of US soldiers, only Iraqi ones...

Like this morning:

US military says:

Is it that the US administration doesn't think that the population would still support the occupation, if showed images like the ones that came from Somalia?

They also don't report on wounded.

At times certain media does...if they have the film...but the military doesn't...as it respects the fallen soldier and the soldiers family. The media does report the number of wounded.

Nam' they learned their lesson....the pentagon told news agency they CANNOT show coffines draped in the flag(you know how the come off the plane) well now it's a no-no

edit-since the m.j. snappin,more than few soilders have been killed but they rather show m.j.
