Motorcycles

I've wanted to have one since I was like 5 years old, and decided I'm finally gonna get one.

Anyone have a good recommendation on what a good bike to start with would be? Just something to learn to ride on.

What are you looking for?
Custom or sports bike...
2 totally diffent rides...

Custom. Not really interested in sports bikes, I don't care all that much how fast I will go :glugglug

I dont really beleive in the "starter" bike...
I would buy the bike I want... People say you might drop it.
Then again, i've never dropped my bike. The choice is up to you.

I personally love Yamaha's

I ride a Triumph 900 Sprint which is a sport/touring bike. Great for both jamming around town or hitting the road. For a starter you might try something like a Triumph Bonneville. New technology, old look. Very classic and a great ride to get started on. http://www.triumph.co.uk/site/bikes/page.cfm?BikeID=79

I wouldn't get Harley. They're too heavy and too expensive.
For a begginer, Suzuki GS500E is ideal bike. I got one 3 years ago and still ride it. But here is a more fetish options, although I don't know how it will be for a begginer:

It's the Yamaha VMax. It all depends where you live. If there's high traffic in your area, and requires good handling, too much cornering, attention and alert...I wouldn't look further than Suzuki's GS500E - it's a great bike!

Motorcycles are great....... I start riding dirt bikes and trikes when I was a kid, then mopeds, scooters, and then motorcycles.

I have a Honda CBRxx 1100 - a rice rocket. I've never understood the cruiser thing - My bike can do anything a crusier can, but can also go a lot faster. There is nothing like going balls to wall screaming down an on ramp.

The best advice I can give to you is take a motorcycle course. I've been riding for years, and when I went to get my motorcyle license here in AZ and I decided to go that route. Even after years of riding I learned a lot.
