I take it their printing on clothing must be iron on instead of silk screened?

I used CafePress for a couple years, the quality is pretty good, although I always thought the images could be bigger.

One day I get an emai ltelling me "thanks, but no thanks" we dont want your business. See, I use d a cartoon of a car that we commissioned from Carl Greatrix and the likeness was enough for them to drop me.

Anyways, out of bad comes good. I ended up moving everything to Zazzle.com and LOVE THEM! The quality on the shirts is so good I ordered 30 right off the bat for me personally. Also, your customers can have the option of customizing their shirts with their own text.

Check out Zazzle - they dont have the selection of goods CafePress does, but CafePress SUCKS!

I take it that all sites like this are iron ons? How long until they fade? How is teh quality vs. a silk screened shirt?

fitnessphotos 11-21-2003 08:02 PM

CafePress is iron-on. Zazzle is not.

We were recently testing some disign to print stuff and wanted to try out some other merchandise options. Put our own stuff up, bought $150 worth of stuff, and sent it all back.

We make a couple grand a year doing design. I would make nothing if I used cafepress as a supplier. The quality on every single things was very very poor. Rough edges on cuts, 'chintsy' feel to the shirts and hats, bad bleed on the mugs, etc.

Wrote them a nice letter explaining my lack of satisfaction, they said send it back and we'll credit your card.
