What do you think of robert kiysaki?

I never read his books but heard little clips of him talking and he sounds pretty good.

theres a bunch of audio and video stuff here: http://secure.richdad.com/Category.a...o/Video%20Sets

but they're kind of pricey and I dont want to spend $140 on something if it's just a bunch of crap. But I would like to take some of the small amount of money I'm making in this business and put it in other areas even if I only have smaller amounts, so I was thinking of checking these out.

any of you tried these?

I've read Richard Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad. It tells a good story but his advice is very simple. I don't really see it expanding beyond the maxim that to become rich one has to buy assets and lose liabilities. I apply that to my business. Other than that, I don't really see him as sort of real estate guru or a guru of any specific advice re getting rich.

My guess is that most of the stuff he teaches are the "mental habits" of rich people rather than specific industries or specific checkpoint steps on becoming rich. Which is correct if you think about it...there's really no one formula to affluence.

yeah I hate it when they give out basic 5th grade level stuff like

- Don't spend money you don't have
- Don't buy a car you can't afford
- Save your money for a rainy day

I know, what other advice do ya got, lol?

And getting rich off his books. Here's an interesting article on him by a real estate consultant:
