In the UK you are innocent until proven guilty but it certainly not like that in the states. How can they release pictures of the police "mug shot" when the guy has not been found guilty?
How can a man called a "district attorney" stand in front of the media and say MJ is going to face this and that, and go to prison for a long time etc, when he has not been found guilty? Its unfair, outragious and for mr and Mrs average in their home the guy is guilty whether he has commited the crime or not! Thanks fuck that in the UK there are reporting restrictions to stop this kind of witch hunt. Micheal Jackson is certainly a strange creature. he lives a wierd life and is bound to court controvesy. Also a lot a jealousy as well due to his lifestyle. On his recent TV documentary he was very open about sleepovers etc and showed no thought as to be labelled a pedo. he seems to enjoy the company of children. Whether it is healthy to act in this way I am not going to judge, but he has always been like this. Looks like the "district attorney" (not sure what that is), the same guy as tried to do him last time, is out to get his man no matter what. Glad that UK law is fairer than the USA. |

The District attourny is the representative of the people that prosecutes the crimes. He is the same one as last time because Michael Jackson still lives in the same place so he is in the same jurisdiction. As for the public statements, anything that a court is doing on the record is public. Prehaps in the UK you have courts that charge people secretly with crimes that the public can't know about? (I don't think so, that would lead to secret goverment courts and all KINDS of abuse).
That was a retorical question....as a matter of fact I lived in the UK for four years, and OF COURSE any charges that the court brings on a person are a matter of public record. In the US it also applies to any evidence introduced as well. It's about the public right to know, and keeping the prosectors from holding kangaroo courts |
Actually, I'm surprised that Michael Jackson hasn't fled to France like all the other pedophiles! France seems to love those....

He's the perfect whipping boy for the press - what do you wanna bet the ratings of all the news channels have been flying through the roofs over the past 2 days? |
