CBS "60 Minutes" Looks at Porn ...
Hi all --
On Sunday, November 23, around 7 p.m. EST (after the last football game), CBS's "60 Minutes" is doing a long segment on pornography in the United States. Here's the blurb from their site: PORN IN THE U.S.-- Pornography is now a $10 billion industry in the U.S. and Steve Kroft examines the way it is disseminated, who is consuming it, and the surprising list of companies that reap hefty profits from it. This is a double-length segment. I was interviewed in New York for about 90 minutes by segment host Steve Kroft. The interview covered a wide range of topics, but Kroft was particularly interested in the involvement of mainstream companies in pornography and the First Amendment implications of the Extreme Associates case. Regards, Frederick Lane |
