StatsRemote rules!

I've remember when StatsRemote first came out. I thought it was a cool idea, but didn't look any further into it.

Well, the other day I finally got it and I am so excited about it. I used to to spend a good chunk of the day refreshing my stats from all the affiliate programs I am using, but now I use that time on other things and am getting a lot more work done.

They charge you $30/mo, which might turn some people off, but when you think about it, that breaks down to $7.50/week, which is a bargain for this service.

You can set up a wav file (or mp3) to play each time you get a sale. I have a wav file of Bill & Ted saying 'Excellent!'. I'll be in the living room, watching tv, and from the computer I'll hear, 'Excellent!' - and it brings a smile to my face.

My only regret is that I didn't get this a year ago.

:thumbsup

Turboface... thanks for the good words :)

Mr.Soze 11-21-2003 09:39 AM

I saw it was nominated for the Xbiz's Most Innovative Product for 2004.
It should win that, ************ and MPA2 are excellent
products as well, no "disrespect" to them.
But I feel Statsremote is the most innovative of them, with all the great features they added since they first made it public:
Yearly stats, daily detail stats for each sponsor, and not to mention all the sponsors they cover.

Couldn't live without it :thumbsup

Mr.Soze 11-21-2003 09:41 AM

I wrote the post above yesterday, but I forgot to press submit before I left office....
Just saw it now...

its a nice sounds lol

banshman 11-21-2003 10:26 AM

There are so many great features with StatsRemote. It is invaluable if you are buying ppc search engine traffic, I was able to save $50 a day by using it to help track and optimize my SE expenditures.

Tip for you stats freaks - keep the sound off when you're working! I've found it difficult to not look at the program everytime I hear the sale chime.

I had problems with ICQ. I couldn't connect at all for about two weeks and it seems like a lot of messages and authorization requests got lost.

Please send it again. I'm online now.

sonomasnap 11-21-2003 02:58 PM

I have Homer saying MMMMM Beer for a sale.

Apu saying Kowabunga for rebills

And Homer saying Doh! for an email sale.

Sometimes if I forget to turn down my speakers Homer will wake me in the middle of the night. MMMMMM Beer

FreeOnes 11-21-2003 04:03 PM

I have turned that sound feature off. I don't like to hear bells ringing every single second :winkwink:

How did you set your StatsRemote to make a sound every single second? Usually the minimum is 15 minutes :winkwink:

If you hear a sound every 15 minutes you know that you're doing something right unless it's only the sound for email sales :Graucho

its probably good for our money making subconscious though. pavlov's dog and all that

.

We got it in febuary and started making more money immediately.

No stress over stats, because you can see in plain view who's performing and who isn't.

I'm shocked everyone isn't trying the free trial.

Yep, many people think that StatsRemote will 'only' save them time but most people make more money because they use it. If you just get one signup more per month it pays for itself.

Well, there are quite a few people that have security and privacy concerns as StatsRemote deals with sensitive data.

I totally understand this and I would be skeptical as well. I wouldn't want some third party to have access to all our stats.

As we don't have access to your stats at any time there's nothing to worry about though :)

slapass 11-21-2003 05:53 PM

This program saves time and makes you more effective. Want to compare two programs? 90% of the data you need is right there. Want to change a link? Click the link on Statsremote and you are inside and can grab a link.

I LOVE IT!!!

I used to have something like that setup for another venture, and when sales came in I'd have it play the "Show Me the Money!" wav ;-)

those gadgets rock...
