A friend of mine mentioned this (a very respected GFy member and site owner,)
he gave him automatic exit traffic for a week he gets 25,000 uniques a day
his stats showed 4 uniques
I hate dishonest webmasters like that so I feel the need to expose, im sure many shave but not with such audacity thats just stupid!!!!!!!!
He doesnt want me mentioning his site or company cause he doesnt like the drama, but to mens niche I say GET A GRIP!

Until you can post proof, including a name so we know you're not fulla shit, I'm pretty well going to ignore you. I've worked for Darren for quite some time, and he's not one to bullshit his affiliates.

I have no proof or anything, but when I joined mensniche a friend of mine also warned me that they would shave me. I haven't really pushed them any big numbers yet, but it does worry me.

the only people who ever complain are the people with absolutley no hits. and couldnt make a dime if it jumped in thei pocket.

I was sending him a descent (couple of hundred) targetted SE hits daily until this latest google update killed me. Hopefully I will be back.

Shaving 25k hits to only 4 is ridiculous, there's probably something wrong with the linking code

However i've seen some pretty funky stuff in my stats for the past month, ups and downs i had never seen the other 2 months before (not that it's a benchmark or anything) but the traffic i've been sending is quite steady and i have no idea why sales dropped about 30-40% since mid october.

I will be the first tpo admit that my SE network isn't making me rich, but it is doing ok for me. I also mail (not really large scale) which keeps my pockets pretty well lined.

Anyways, Darren does seem like a good bloke, but it is true that most sponsors shave. My friend was sure they shaved pretty big time, and to hear a second complaint obviously doesn't fill me with confidence. However, so long as they convert at a reasonable ratio for me I will keep pushing them, if notice I am getting fucked over I will stop.

Oh and about the friends bit, I am not going to really bother arguing. You are probablly some fat geek with two drinking buddies. So GFY wanker.

ya.. when i was sending traffic every about 2 days the stats would go buggy.. i think it's the mpa2 software.. every 2 - 3 days join form would stop loading and clicks would stop logging

Umm...I have no idea if Darren shaves or not, but the concept of someone shaving 25k uniques to 4 is stupid.

MensNiche doesn't and never will shave it is simply pointless.

Some points, MensNiche is setup to work for webmsaters and at every price point we make a profit as does yourself of course.

We give signups on ALL EXITS, we track via IP and COOKIES, we give credit on ALL PILL REBILLS the only sponsor to actually offer this, we give credit on ALL UPSALES... Why do we do this?

If we wanted to shave we wouldnt do any of the above, fuck we would probably also put a phone number on our site like other sites to nick affiliate sales... or set cookies to 2 hours or something so u dont even get sales from the email newsletters we send on ur behalf... We could also count 2nd page uniques etc all the little tricks other companies use....

I do know however what this thread is refering to, the actual person was using the wrong linking code, sending to volumepills.com/affiliatecodeblabla when in fact all links actually route through mensniche.com/affiliatecodeblabla this is why the hits are obviously not tracked properly.

Now if this person wishes to contact me the problem can be of course sorted out..

Dildozer me and u go back for some months mate and u have made quite a bit of $$ off volumepills so lets be realistic here if the numbers for urself have gone down lets take a look at some other reasons apart form the fact darren as got the shave o matic on...

- increased competition.
- same adverts losing appeal.
- the new patches going around..

Loads of things... I am still waiting an email from u pointing out some things eg traffic sources etc and to give u more advice to help you out to get back to the incredible ratios u was experiencing.

There are threads about every sponsor out there apparently shaving most time its BS and in this occasion it certainly is.

I never get involved in pissing matches but for Darren I will.

The guy has treated me like a king and I'm sure I send NOTHING compared his larger affilliates. I've never met a more approchable sponsor, and one more willing to work for ME.

Shaving? Doubtful. My conversions are absolutely wonderful.

So I'll gladly stand up and defend him.

You know exactly the story and I was told the TRUE version, when the link wasnt working he got 0 uniques, so its after you fixed the link and told him exactly to put it in the way you said it and sent it then it started tracking hence the 4 uniques as opposed to 0 you upped his commission to 75% supposedly to set things straight but at 75% you greedy sponsor didnt want to pay so out came the serious shaver, now if you really wanted to set things straight you should have given him CASH for the traffic he sent, but no you cant make money at 75% so you figured make it look like nothing even happened so far as far as traffic so you dont have worry about him complaining about conversions cause the traffic wasnt there yet, but you know what Darren that sponsor has a bad taste and your name will never be the same!
