Epassporte virtual card question !
 

After i tryed to use the epassporte virtual card at a lot of online merchants...all declined, i need some clarifications from epassporte staff :

so actualy the virtual card is issued by SNKAB bank in Curacao..now when i try to buy something online, i normaly enter my US address, zipcode and etc. and the Epass Virtual Card..Normaly, seeing a USA address the processor will asume that i use a US card....and so this will be a first decline, since the card is not from the US.....The second decline reason will be that AVS will respond that it can not verify my billing address..that's becouse mainly only US banks can do AVS.....The third decline will come from the geo-ip antifraud measure that most online merchants use nowdays...it will show me trying to order smth with an US IP address and with a Curacao card...hehe..So do i need to have a Curacao IP address to buy smth online ?

No just enter your regular info contained in your epassporte account and it will be fine. Theres a very limited amount of companies that wont process.

Never had a problem using it bought a lot of stuff online with it :)

Your wrong on all 3 accounts.

#1 if you have an american address on the cc thats all that matters

#2 they verify the billing address you enter to the one on the card

#3 geo-ip fraud detection doesnt pick up the bank location they match the address to the ip so if your in the u.s. and have us ip then no problems there.

Like i said there a few processors i have heard that DONT accept them but i have never encountered one yet.

I notice your location says netherlands . Is the card on a usa address ? or netherlands.

I think your messing something up. Because i have never once had a problem.

I did however have a problem when i was in mexico with my capitalone visa and buying something online. they flagged it as fraud because i was in mexico on a usa card address. But i called them and they fixed me right back up again.

I have found that one does not work eith epassporte as well.

Close to any regular processor will never accept the virt. CC of epassport, sorry but this is not a real card

All of this is comman, for example when I first took my CC out of the country they declined my card. I contacted the bank and they said I had no buying pattern outside of the UK. They sorted it out so now I do not have this porblem.

I did however this summer have my card declined while trying to make an online purchase while in Greece, again the card was declined as in the afternoon I had made a purchase in a shop in the UK.

We decline cards here at nochex a lot. Mainly its to do with the address that the Card Holder supplies us. Just looking at this problem I would say he has real problems as his card was issued out side of the USA though he has a US billing address.

For what its worth I am a fan of E Passporte and I just wished we could take their payments through our checkout :-)
