anyone here frequent Foxwoods?

Funny you mention that - I grew up in Uncasville, CT - where the Mohegan Sun is now. When I visit I go to the Sun because it's less crowded. I have been to Foxwoods.

It's funny cause the whole area used to be the sticks.

I used to go to Foxwoods. Now I prefer Mohegan Sun. Mohegan is about 10 minutes away from Foxwoods. Mohegan has a better selection of restaurants and shopping if you're looking for something to do between gambling. The new hotel is nice, too.

Don't except to find discounts and odds as good as what you'll see in Vegas, nor will you find reasonable minimums at the tables. I don't think I've ever seen a normal blackjack game at either connecticut casino with a minimum bet under $25.

I just got back from Mohegan Sun this weekend. They had some Bull Riding competition and I actually Jewel in the audience. Foxwoods is alright, but I'll take the Sun anyday.

I went to Mohegan right after it opened when it was tiny. I heard it's 100 times better now. I'm not a big fan of Foxwoods.
