SEO Newbie question...

finally finished my site (mainstream) and i wanna get it as ready as a newbie can get it for SE's...

so basically, find the best possible keywords for my site's purpose and meta each page with those keywords (as well as list them in the content as much as possible)... and find other sites related to my site's purpose and try to get them to link to me... so i imagine i'll have to have some type of link page on my site? does it have to be linked from my main page? at the bottom or some shit?

thx.

everyone has their own theories on SE tactics but from my experience Google likes one way links better. I would find ways to get people to link you without it being reciprocal.

Here is teh same thing everyone is told:

1) take your key word do a search on yahoo-google
and fine the top site -see what they are using for keywords- need to read source would help, you then try to make it better, just dont copy it it as there's will probally go down, there is somplace for free on the net that scores keywords..

ok that it...
