I wish I could say something in our defense, but I can find no valid argument..

The USD maybe weak in the EU/CAN but it means better opportunities for US exporters. Totally depends on how you look at it. :thumbsup

If I kept some funds in dollars, I'd be down about 38K this year so far! Seriously, the "game", - or is it a war? - has not even started yet, but the effects will ripple globally because the US was put on some major financial pedestal for some years (rightly!), but has failed to live up to this status mainly thru inadequate, or non existant, financial management, by both the government and Greed Street. Basically neither can be trusted with money or be relied upon to produce a true financial statement. |

Assuming that OPEC starts using the EURO as the official currency for oil trading you will definitely see economic pain in the US. The fact that so many non-US economies hold us cash is a great benefit to the us since these notes are not in the US money system pushing up inflation. However, the moment you have a global commodity like oil being paid for in EURO, the stored petrodollars start heading home and causing economic damage.:2 cents:

Another moron who doesnt understand economics.
The usa is keeping the dollar artificially low to curb inflation and make goods cheaper for foreign export. Its what makes america strong and what keeps it from going thru dips. And its what keeps you third world shmoe's at our doorstep and in our footsteps. |

True.. that is - if Europe, Austrailia and all the other countries don't implement trade sanctions starting in December/January. After years of waiting for action by the US on it's violation of WTO rulings, others are not likely to drop impending sanctions. Financially... I suspect the US has been trading in "dreams" for some time. An example was the "dot com boom" - another fantasy along with the SEC fantasies. The truth probably lies in the US Treasury report presented to Bush in March which has been "hidden" to avoid real life. |

THank fuck someone said the dollar sucks cock. I love it how Americans talk shit about Europeans like "Dialers are good to shove in Europeans computers because they dont have any credit cards". Americans tend to be seriously egotistic...The greatest country on earth? Yeah probably if it came down to a hamburger eating competition....
Atleast we have leaders who are not retarded fucks who cheated to get elected. 100,000 people will march in London on Thursday telling George Bush to fuck off home.... |

Start loading up on Gold. Some heavy shit is going to hit the fan soon. People in the know I've been talking to regarding the currency and capital markets, think what's going to come out could push Gold to $3,000 to $4,000 per ounce.

The same gold story has been passed around for 5 years as it sits idle. Too many people are stuck in the 80's gold rush |

I notice they had to change a number of "venues" to stop the Texas Village Idiot getting a bullet in the head. He is no longer addressing Parliament in case he "might be heckled" - hell.. I like the "might"! :winkwink: Bush has never "managed" a "heckle" in his life! They also cancelled some "procession" since there was a decent chance he'd get pulled apart. Dunno... I got a feeling this guy is real popular on this planet! :1orglaugh |

I say that either a recession hits the world again, or the US prospers with another president, eitherway, I don't think things will last long like this. I make more during a recession for some reason. |
