Theres a bunch of fake popups and such those arent the problem.

After clicking thru all the fake popups and such go into your c drive and windows folders and system and system32 and search for files by date and look for some new stuff :)

Some things it will do.

Install some nasties to change registry, i.e. settings. Sets up your computer to be a mail proxy and sets up a keylogger and a few other trojans i havent quite figured out yet.

Im going on a trip down south so if anyone with some skillz has some time to do some checking on this for me post info here.

p.s. this will bypass some common firewalls when using the exe's it installs.

p.s. if you have some time do some work on this folks, contact the registrars, icann , hosting , sponsors etc.

These people are taking a bite out of your money. Put a stop to it one site at a time. I know it seems pointless, but it isnt and hard work pays off. Dont listen to the naysayers as they are usually hand in hand with these cheaters, and are jealous that someone is doing something about it.

I saw on some board recently similiar message but with other domains (two or three of them).

Because i snagged this one fresh in the tracks its gonna be easy to shut these morons down. But the new exploit means i.e. is gonna havta make a new patch here in the next few days.

I couldn't see anything dodge when I grabbed the files externally, but then again I could have missed something. Interested to see this one though..

Its hard to find im trying to track it down myself, it seems its in multiple areas.

If you know your shit just go to it in i.e. and then clean your system out afterwards.

BUT DO NOT RESTART YOUR COMPUTER until you know its fully clean. :) Cause this one is a bitch to remove.. Ill post details here once i have the whole ball of wax sorted out..

I wonder if Opera posing as IE will do the same thing ? Only one way to find out. And what's up with the recent string of IE related hijackings and stuff like that. OMG it was getting annoying hearing friends, family and friends of friends ask for help cleaning that shit up.
