Though I am from Louisiana, I have never been a big LSU fan. I have always found most of their fans to be loud, ignorant rednecks. ( Of course this pretty much describes most fans of college teams)

Its Jason White's Heisman to lose, there is no doubt about that. Manning and Fitzgerald are not way way behind, but if Oklahoma doesnt stumble down the stretch and gets to the Sugar Bowl undefeated then its his. He already broke the school record for TDs in a season this past week, no small accomplishment given the quality of the Oklahoma program for a long time.

Mike, I agree completely an all counts! I am a football freak! I love my Tigers! But, ignorant, mean cocky assholes totally get on my nerves! I hate when my team loses, but I love the game, and respect the other team. IT IS A GAME! All of us aren't "loud ignorant rednecks". :winkwink:

LSU was a great party college to go to. Even studied once or twice while I was there. Word has it that the youngest Manning is even better than Eli & Peyton. Too bad LSU didn't have the schedule to put them in line for the National Championship as USC & Ohio State have the inside line if they don't screw up. Nawlins would be rocking with a Sugar Bowl with match up of LSU-Oklahoma. USC probably has the best shot though as LSU proved it this year that Florida can ruin any year for them. It's destiny!

I'd personally love to see Ole Miss play Texas Tech in a bowl game. That would be wild with about 1000+ yards passing(Texas Tech side alone). And my grandma could complete 70% passing from a wheel chair(blindfolded) against Texas Tech. Lots of points! Makes for good partying

You realize they already played this season? Ole Miss lost 49-45. That was at the beginning of the season before our winning streak.

Now that you mention it.... I do remember it and probably why I would love to see the rematch again. Beware that LSU's coach has the killer instinct at all cost to make the big game(against Oklahoma). He was sincerely pissed at just allowing Bama the 3 points and was ripping the defensive over it.
