Do you prefer to have relationships and or casual sex with people in this industry (not just models but behind the scenes people too) or do you date only outside of the adult industry?


personally - I have found some of the MOST ATTRACTIVE women I have ever known working in this business - appearance and attitude. I have 10 or 12 ongoing crushes on some of the girls I know in this business - both models and behind the scenes girls.

and I find I get crushes on them a LOT faster than women I meet outside of the adult industry.

I find that women outside of the biz are often taken back by what we do... Women in the biz are amzing... open to talk about anything... yet still have that feminine aspect that turns a man on... I have yet to actualy have a relationship with a woman in the biz... but I have plenty of them as close friends

But, im coming from an amateur perspective. Just like in any industry, there are guys (and girls) that I would love to date and fuck, and those that I wouldnt touch with a 10 foot pole.

Its amazing those that make their money on women wouldnt ever think of putting their dick online.

Even if i don't really have a preference, the chances that I hook up with a chick workign in this industry is greater then a regular chick is obvious. Most of the time I go out and play I am at a convention or with people from hte adult industry.

But as for ladies outside the industry I have to disagree with you Rinaldo. When I meet a chick and we start talking and I let her know what i do and my past experience on the net I usually get lot more of their attention and questions asked to me.

whether or not someone bares all online is a personal choice in my book and i don't judge anyone by that. what i find amazing is the low opinion some people who work in this industry have of ANYONE who bears all online.

yes there are some fucked up models out there - and a lot of them. but there are also some INCREDIBLY bright and wonderful people who are models too.

just as there are some FUCKED UP webmasters out there too.

I don't think I would date someone in the industry, if I was single. I wouldn't want to end up with someone who would want to take over my site and my business, for whatever reason. I'm a pretty big softie, so I can see that happening pretty easily. But the guy would have to be ok with what I do, too, so it would be a challenge to find him 'out there'.

However, if I just wanted to sleep around, I'd stick to non-content people, or at least people who don't have sex with tons of other people. That's just asking for trouble.

I do find, though, that I get along with people in the industry really well, due to having lots in common. Also, people here are incredibly quick and open-minded, which makes for excellent conversations. And a good conversation can be nearly as good as sex. :D

I'm partial to both. Women working within the industry are certainly more partial to understanding what I do, that's a big plus. I don't see any real advantage to courting only women outside the industry, many of whom are NOT so understanding of what it is we do.

It all depends on the person you're considering.

I'm all committed to one man and all that. But, if I were looking, there are a few in the biz that I find appealing. I like a guy who is self motivated, outgoing and open minded. You find that a lot in this business.

I'm not sure I'd date content. I'm all for being open to a sexual adventure and exploring new things, but I don't know how I'd feel about a guy who fucked for a living. :) If it were casual dating or whatever, I wouldn't mind so much, but thinking about it in the context of my current relationship, I can't imagine it. We're engaged and have been monogamous for over 8 years now. I guess I'm getting old since I've stopped thinking about sharing. :winkwink:

I would only date guys who are "webmasters", or business people in the industry. I would never date content, not because I look down on them but because I would never tolerate any guy I'm with sleeping or messing around with other women.

at this point in my life I don't care.. in the industry, not in the industry it makes not difference. All I want is a woman that will accept me for who I am and what I do.. Sure, I work for myself, I'm confident (not arrogant or conceded) and I'm not an asshole unless it's called for BUT I have a leg disability which of course only gets worse as I age and it's getting worse at a fast rate (no cure) and I'm sure that in most cases that's what make women say "fuck him".

I would date someone in the biz, but not anyone in any type of content. I have nothing against content guys/gals at all because we would not have jobs if it were not for them, but it is my preference not to have intimate relationships with them. :2 cents:
