I've met and worked with quite a few over the years and it seems to be about like Hetero's. Some do and some don't. Why would it be different? Alot of Gays or Lesbians are religious as well. The hubby had a lesbian couple for Sunday School teachers. He says it didn't seem to make them any different than the other teachers he had had.

er... Mutt... being as gay is not a religion, why shouldn't gay people celebrate whatever holiday belongs to their religion? most of my friends who happen to be gay do celebrate christmas and most of the gay clubs here decorate for christmas as well.

I'm not religious, but i "celebrate" christmas.

I don't see it as a celebration of Christ's birth, i see it as a happy time to be with family and friends.

Whilst not being religious, at the dinner table we do have a tendancy to sing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus :winkwink:

Administrator, the bible is pretty clear about a few things that so-called christians choose to ignore.

"judge not lest ye be judged" seems pretty clear to me, as does "thou shalt not kill". there are no loopholes here - we do NOT have the right to judge other people; only god has that right.

for some reason, a large number of christians choose to forget that the main thing jesus really spoke of was love for ALL people. since's christmas is the celebration of his birthday, how can you celebrate it while full of hate or judgement for others?

Amen Basschick that is what pisses me off about most christians they think they are holier than thou and they aren't. I think gay people are great to hang around with they are funny. So I guess because I was a surrogate(all i did was be the oven heeheh) and helped create a family for a gay couple that I am a sinner oh well. Why would anyone care what gay men do? Not knocking you MUTT cause I respect you alot sir, but just wondering. I know tons of gay men and they live their life the same as str8 men only thing different is they like poles instead of holes.

tho somebody did post something that I agree with - it's one thing for gays to celebrate Christmas in a secular way - presents, tree, gifts - but Christianity is not a religion any gay person should be following, the Bible is filled with hate towards homosexuals. you can't twist a religion to fit your own personal lifestyle and beliefs - well u can but it's ridiculous.

The bible is all in how you interpert it. It also says in the bible that god forgives all sins so that means if I go out and kill someone and before i am sentenced to death I ask for gods forgivness do you think you will see me in heaven? According to how I was taught you sure as hell will:) God Loves all no matter what sex, religion, or sexual preference. Like someone else said it is people who do the hating.
