China in 20 years India in 40 years Arabic nation in 80 years Earth destroyed in 81 years..... |
China is becoming more and more like Hong Kong
If China had the same per capita GDP as Hong Kong, China's economy would be three times as large as the American economy. |

China for sure, it have changed like crazy is the past 20 years. Much more modern than before and in 20 more years it will be a super power.
|
Except China doesn't have room for many tanks and stealth bombers
|
Speaking of tanks china has a tank called the T-99 which can kill any tank in the world with one shot. Nothing special about these kind of tanks though. Many countries already have tanks like this.
All is come down to is the driver and training. As for the stealth bomber, the US is superior in that. China right now is no match for the US but it's still a Super power. Just not a advanced super power "Yet" http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/ar...TICLE_ID=32501 http://pub15.ezboard.com/fthefinalph...icID=137.topic I think China is starting to mass produce the J-10 aircraft. They are also selling these to other countries. http://www.aeronautics.ru/news/news002/news095.htm http://english.peopledaily.com.cn/20...3_108423.shtml http://pub137.ezboard.com/ffighterpl...picID=71.topic http://pub89.ezboard.com/faircraft51...picID=49.topic Of course technology wise the US is top of the line but China is catching up and with the number and mass production they are already quite powerful. |

B-52 can do just a good of a job at less cost. "When the B-2 project began, the U.S. Air Force planned to buy 132 planes at a total cost of $22 billion. By the time the aircraft was unveiled in 1988, the price tag had jumped to more than $70 billion. Many members of congress weren't pleased with the expenditure, or with the more than $20 billion the Pentagon had already spent developing the plane. By the time the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the price had jumped even higher and the need for a huge fleet of B-2s had decreased. In 1993, Congress authorized the Pentagon to buy 20 B-2s at around $2 billion a piece. A few years later, President Clinton authorized the military to upgrade the original prototype B-2 to a working weapon, bringing the total to 21. Many feel the plane isn't worth the high price tag and maintenance costs, especially since the older, cheaper B-52 and B-1 bombers can carry more bombs at faster speeds. There are no plans to add more B-2s to the fleet at this time." The most powerful ground attack plane http://pub137.ezboard.com/ffighterpl...D=8030.to pic |
Don't know why it won't let me edit the original post. Just want to add that the stealth bombers are very expensive. The J-10 only cost 3 million each. Not saying it's anything close to the B2 but you can have 666 J-10 for the price of one B2 which can do allot of damage.
B-2's fender bender will cost $500,000 to fix http://edition.cnn.com/US/9804/10/br...hap/index.html B-2A Spirit strategic stealth bomber shot down http://www.aeronautics.ru/nws001/b2down001.htm Crew parachutes from B-1B bomber just before crash http://edition.cnn.com/US/9802/18/B1.crash.update/ A Lost Illusion http://www.aeronautics.ru/f117down.htm The B2 is a very powerful plane, just very expensive to buy and keep. |
Sure, experts are 'predicting' China in 20 years, India in 40 years etc etc blah blah blah...... but it is the country everyone least suspects that will come out of nowhere and blindside the world as the next superpower. I'm telling you D'jibouti will be kicking ass in 9.7 years.
D'jibouti. |
Yeah, hard to predict the future. Right now all I care about is peace and a good economy. More sales the better :thumbsup
I still bet China will be next. Right now a ton of stuff is already made in China and Taiwan. Ever watch the movie Armageddon where the russian guy says "American Components... Russian Components... All made in Taiwan!" http://www.moviequotes.com/archive/bynumber/1075.html Rockhound: Hey, Harry. Harry S. Stamper: Yeah, Rock? Rockhound: You know we're sitting on 4 million pounds of fuel, one nuclear weapon, and a thing that has two hundred and seventy thousand moving parts, built by the lowest bidder! http://www.moviequotes.com/archive/bynumber/17300.html |
The US became number one after WWII, and that was only because it wasn't fought here at all. The previous big players had their countries so bombed out that their industries became non-existant, and they still to this day have not recovered.
It would take such a scenario here on US soil for that to happen to us, and unless nukes are involved (highly unlikely) that is pretty far fetched. It will take an act of force to make the US #2. Economics could do it also, but before that ever had the chance to happen WWIII would be started by us. |
Good point, I don't really care who is number one as long as sales are good and there is peace. :glugglug
