Canada has tons of crime, just not as many murders as the US. Vancouver, BC is quickly turning into a dump. You can't stand still in downtown for more then 2 minutes without some street bum or welfare fuck asking for money/cigarette.
Even in the rich areas (West) the streets are just crawling with lowlifes.

A real shame because the city is very beautiful otherwise.

Sad to hear that Jman. When I visited Vancouver in 1999 it was fucking amazing. Beautiful snow topped mountains, clean streets, great water in the peninsula. It seemed like SF or Seattle without the bullshit.
