Can the Ohio State Buckeyes actually ever lose a close game?

I am beginning to wonder if its possible.

nap 11-15-2003 08:27 PM

i'd rather see ohio in the bcs championship. show the country how weak their "great defense is

Bansheelinks 11-15-2003 08:35 PM

It would be a bad bad blowout.............the Sooners would crucify them.........they wouldn't even get a point

X37375787 11-15-2003 08:46 PM

Go Bucks!!!!

Ya'll and your Sooner horseshit can go hide in a corner. Sure, the OSU-OSU BCS game would be a tough one, but sure as hell the Sooners wouldn't outscore us by 40 points.

I am sick of everyone bashing the Bucks. We ripped the arogant Miami cunts a new asshole last year, and we'll surely try the same thing in the Sugar Bowl again.

hey get it right we are OU. OSU - Oklahoma State. And truth be told Miami was robbed at the end of the championship game last year and im pretty sure you not what i'm referring to. I hate miami so i'm glad you all won the title but don't think that your fluke contending team can compete against a team that matured like OU:thumbsup

gleem 11-15-2003 09:23 PM

Deal with Satan guarentees we can't lose any.. :thumbsup

BradShaw 11-15-2003 09:23 PM

Miami was robbed on pass interference call. Clarett is a criminal. In the end, it does not matter. OSU could not score 10 points on OU... Would be like 35-7 OU. Would rather play USC, atleast they have an offense and a coach who can dress.

cosis 11-15-2003 09:28 PM

Buckeyes #1

No one said they could beat Miami last year and we did, same thing will happen to the Sooners.........

Tressel will always find a win............ we can do all this without Clarett, if we did have him we would easily be #1 right now.

The pass interference call on Miami was justified. Sharpe defintely had a grip on Gamble while the ball was still in the air.

Clarett is a dumbass, and he won't be playing this year anyway.

True, our offense sucks balls, but OU's offense wouldn't score 35 points on us. I'd bet you a million bucks, if I had em.

nap ~ yeah. OU, my bad.

X37375787 11-15-2003 09:31 PM

Besides Brad, all this yadi yadi blah blah bullshit "OSU won't stand a chance" is the same as it was heard on news, radio and TV stations across the land last year, prior to the bowl game. And you know yourself what happened.

Then again we're not qualified yet, so why the fuzz?

We score on special teams and defense as well;-)

Will be interesting to see what happens if OSU and USC win out, I think the #'s my fall the way of OSU. LSU looked very good tonight as well.

But I think Michigan will beat OSU.

we put up 77 points in 3 quarters last week and you don't think that we couldnt put up a measley 35 againsts OSU's over rated defense:1orglaugh man you must not watch much big 12 football.

out of 11 games so far 8 have been over 35 and 2 of them we only scored 34 points. there is a reason why EVERY coach and sports commentator says we are the #1 team in the country. I have heard commentators even go as far as calling us one of THE BEST TEAMS EVER yet you don't think we could put 35 points up againsts Ohio State? We would have put 50+ up on Miami! I've watched Ohio State play and i seriously doubt that they could beat Texas let alone our OSU.

The only teams USC has played this year that are relatively good is Washington State and Auburn.... talk about a easy schedule. They don't deserve to go to the Sugar Bowl, Maybe the John Hancock Bowl :1orglaugh

Who the fuck have you guys played? Shitty teams that are no good.... You guys couldn't put 50 on Miami, and you won't have a chance againt the Buckeyes defense

X37375787 11-15-2003 09:49 PM

OU had quite the impressive schedule this year:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamsched?teamId=201

Running up the score against unranked teams really deserves respect...

foolio 11-15-2003 09:58 PM

Look - just admit it!

Michigan will win next week, be the Big Ten champs and then win in the Rose Bowl.

Why is this so hard to see?

77-0 is the game which you must be referring to. apparently you didn't watch the game. we were playing with our 3rd string guys and still managing to score. we are not to blame because a team can't stop us. we began to kill time early in the fourth quarter. like i said, watch some of our games then comment, until then you just make sure that your precious ohio state sqeaks by another shitty conferenced team.

GonePhishing 11-15-2003 11:52 PM

Next week... Go Blue!

Go Bucs! :glugglug

GonePhishing 11-16-2003 12:06 AM

I'll be at the UM vs. OSU game next week. Just for the record...

My thoughts on a few things... Not meaning to start a brawl by saying this...

1. Although I am a Michigan fan, there is not a team in the country that can lay a glove on OU. Not one... Nobody, no way, not possible. They are too damn good.

2. LSU and OSU will lose. Ole Miss will win against LSU. OSU will lose to Michigan in the Big House. (In my opinion, though biased... This will not be close either)

3. USC has a slight chance of losing a game. Though, not likely at all. Maybe a 40% chance of an upset.

OSU because you guys played a bunch of nobodies

michigan will be beat for the 3rd year in a row by the Buckeyes

liquidmoe 11-16-2003 12:24 AM

I'll just say go OU because my good friend goes there and he's a huge fan. :thumbsup

Bansheelinks 11-16-2003 01:03 AM

Come on, seriously now, you can't believe that Ohio State could possibly beat the Sooners.......

I'm not even a Sooners fan yet I am amazed at what type of team Stoops has fielded this year.........its their year

at team like SC MIGHT give them a competative game in the Natl Championship Game, but thats all........

they are too strong in all phases, from Jason White on, and that marvelous defense

believe me, they aren't the KC Chiefs, who have a blaring weakness called their DEFENSE that might leave them out in the cold in January because of it

............I don't see the same thing happening to the Sooners........too damn strong.........too damn balanced

and also.......... :2 cents: Miami was completely ripped off by that horseshit Pass Interference call last year...........Dan Fouts was right on that one, despite Keith Jackson's blubbering and "Whoa Nellies" over the team he was obviously favoring that day, the Buckeyes

:2 cents: the Buckeye coach dresses like a castaway from "Leave It To Beaver"

Look, Ohio State just squeaked by SDSU! LOL - SDSU!!!!!

There is no fucking way they are really the good team they are made out to be.

Today - they did NOT win the other team just lost. So STFU on the "they find ways to win" bullshit.

Tressel can dress anyway he wants, aslong as he wins games.

Only a crybaby Miami fan still dwells on the pass interference call from last year. Get over it, bad call or not it's what the referee saw. Should it have came down to a penalty for Miami to lose a game they were suppose to crush the Buckeyes in? What a joke.........

Oklahoma and USC simply haven't played anyone woth even mentioning, they are use to playing these sissy teams that no ones has ever heard of.

nice bump - in fact... we played a shitty game. We deserved to get schooled in the first half... and then didn't have enough to come back.

Oh well, still proud to be a Buckeye. We'll be back next year with a great recruiting class. And Clarett.

Case closed. I was the the Big House. What a fucking treat for the 100th meeting. What a game! What a big blue outcome!

ROSE BOWL HERE WE COME!

P.S. Every OSU fan at the game was pleasant, fun, and very enjoyable. I was happy that it was friendly with them.

GonePhishing 11-22-2003 11:42 PM

Correction... Meant to say I was at the big house. Anyways. I'm still excited. What a game!

Bansheelinks 11-23-2003 04:08 AM

I always thought OSU was a Paper Tiger this year........

they need some work but no doubt they will be back......maybe even contend for it all next year..........good coach they have
