bahamas...

is it legal to have all my sponsor revenue go in a bahamas residing company and only pay taxes on the cash I bring in my country to live?

I asked my acountant but I didn'T get a clear answer until I tell him more about what I do, so before I write this text about my business, anyone doing it here?

I think you consulted the wrong professional. Give me a buzz, I can recommend you a lawyer here in Montreal that can answer your question in laymen term.

well the thing is my accountant is free of charge. The reason he can't answer that fast is he doesn'T normally deal with non-resident companies... anyway, send me an ICQ dude I can'T find you.

if you hide your money the cheap way, its ilegal,

if you make like 500K a year and set up a proper company there the right way, then its legal,

thats why itsa grey area,

you have to obbey the law and work with the system, if you want to lower taxes and still control your money,

if you evade taxes by going offshore it can bite you in the ass,

but if you spend the money to set it up legally and or move offshore 6+ months a year, then it can be done legally,

but you nead to make 500K + to warrent the effort,

if you make under 300K cdn anyways, its easy to have significant tax savings, and not get ass rapped,
