What boards are sponsored by ADS? Does it diminish other paid ads?
 

I'm wondering what other boards are paying to have ADS branded all over their site.. and if anyone / any normal banner advertisers think it''s unfair and diminishing to their paid ads? I think it draws away from the other spots (obvious, that's the purpose of it otherwise ADS wouldn't have paid to get branded on the sites) and is a little unfair to previous advertisers.

Agree? Disagree? Why?

I just noticed SleazyDream's thread, read through some of it, and similiar feelings seem to be felt.

One thing Sleazy mentioned about a regulation fee instead of another banner - It's good business to find new sources of revenue, but $60,000 a month from GFY is already pretty damn good.

Probably.. If that stays up for 1 month I'd imagine they'd have to pay some nice change, I'd suppose at least half of the total costs of all other banners... and then they should give a refund of half to all their current advertisers for the time this branding is up..

People don't pay a certain amount and then have ad spots added and the same amount charged. Exposure is spread out more then and therefore is automatically less valuable.

I don't think this will last a whole month. Probably about one week, and for that week I am guessing upwards of $10K exchanged hands between owners of ADS and Lensman.

I would say at minimum.
