Who has experience with sex.com PPC?
Hey,
Does anyone work with sex.com PPC program? How's it working out? Darko |
fair to poor. Dump in 100 or 200 bucks and it worked ok... dump in more and it sucks ass. :glugglug
|
Delivered good traffic to an original mail program I had. I recommend them. Ask for Derrick. Good service but your results, depends on your product, keywords, and webpage's ability to convert.
|
We didn't get good results using sex.com.
I don't know if it was the kind of sites we were promoted, mainly live cam sites, but we test the traffic for $100 and didn't make a sale. |
invested 50 bucks for a test, nothing got out of it, just zero..
i wont be using them in a while :2 cents: |
Used them for over a year and have made a profit every day...easy money for me
|
Not much luck here, I've dumped a couple hundred into them and only got a couple sales.

i'll be testing them next week.... contact roxxxie for help...

Spent $200 on sex.com
Didnt make shit back that traffic is shit |
using sex.com for a number of sites for well over a year, wouldn't still be using them if they didn't convert...
:glugglug |
I dropped them for a while because my ROI was just to inconsistent with them. I could have several good campaigns then 1 campaign that was so bad I would have a negative ROI for the period.
As already mentioned I think the right product (unique) and approach can work with them. Dialers targetted to specific countries as sex.com allows works good. Certain products bid high enough to get into the vertical results can work as well. Overall they need to be micro managed more then any search engines I work with. I may try them again soon. Just take your time and don't blow an entire wad overbidding. |
Three words for Sex dot con
Crap Crap Crap :throwup |
$50.00, $100.00....that isn't a test....lol......
It might take me anywhere between $500 - $1000 just to tweak the page until I can get the results I am looking for....each PPC SE is a little different... You can't go in with the attitude that if I don't make money with spending $50 - $100, then that PPC SE sucks...lol Maybe PPC isn't the game for you.... good luck |
well said Alex...
With over 2,400 account holders.... and still growing.... it is working for lots... I would encourage anyone who starts an account with sex.com to work with their account manager...and like alex said 'tweak' things here and there... I always recommend submitting a few sites...with a run of 50.00 on each or so...to see what sites take best to our traffic.. consideration on a lot of tangibles must be given as well.... payment systems in other countries, etc.... don't just list your site in random countries unless your site can handle payment conversions.... if anyone has any questions please feel free to hit me up... [email protected] ICQ: 270169857 AOL: luca22003 ask me about my promotional offer... CHEERS! |

It shouldn't take 1k to tweak a J4free type sponsor. It would take a long time to get back in the black if that was the case. PPS and revshare sure sometimes it takes time. My experience has shown that the sex.com traffic spikes at certain times and kills my ROI at the end of the campaign. I have been unable to determine why that happens yet but I know what to look for the next time I give them a try. |
Alex: You might be right with investing 2k in it to see how it goes. Newsflash: some people dont have 2k to invest, especially if they dont know if they will get there money back.
A 50 bucks testrun should at least give me 1 signup. I've invested 500 in choker, and doubled my money with it from the start to the end. Point is: I dont have 2k spare to tweak the traffic and stuff.. easy as that. |
http://www.sex.com and all PPC search engine DO require tweaking. Our sales / account management people help you get it right. Also we do more than just sell traffic - check out http://traffic.sex.com
P.S. Sorry you do not have $2,000 to invest. Many business do require an effective minimum to make money (servers, Epoch charges, hosting, content, affiliate software). Traffic is part of that. So why not get a partner to come up with the cash part and you with the brain part. It does take real traffic to tweak a set of pages just right. Just like a hotdog stand. The first dog you ever make is not as good as the tenth. |
I do well with sex.com -- with the right description you can make good coin. However, it can take a while to get your ad right. :)
I'v helped quite a few people with my article, if you haven't read it yet. Check it out. --> http://xbiz.com/articles/index.php?article_idp=574 |

How many people use Sex.com and other PPCs to advertise their program versus those advertising someone elses? Do most of your customers just advertise their own program?
|
If you go in with a page that you like and think will work and spend $50 on traffic and get no results... you're doing it all wrong. Don't play PPC any different than other forms of traffic. You need to play with your landing and signup pages. Play with the text that you have with the PPC engine. Make it more targetted keywords.
A person can not run into something and expect results. More patience is required. I mean hell... who makes a site and leaves it to do its thing. No. We play with it to maxamize the sales potential. Just remember that! :thumbsup |
When is Sex.com going to get smart and be a totally Free search engine, so we can spam the site out of it!

I put $200 into sex.com, set up our link with a tracker code and got nada...
After several ignored emails I finally ICQ'd. The rep (don't remember who) had me put $250 more in and they set up the keywords, still nada! I suppose my site could be in need of tweaking but I'm getting signups from other sources so I would have expected a couple minimum from that much targeted traffic. I'll probably end up trying them again at some point, but not any time real soon... |
