question on mp3's...
how come when I download mp3's and playback on my pc they sound great but sometimes on certain songs I burn on a cd to play in the mp3 player in my truck, some of the songs clip out constantly or just a few times on a song.
Damn drives me nuts! |
Yeah, i get that alot at the end of some songs, the ends missing.
Hmmm... :arcadefre |
I believe it is a bad rip. It used to happen to me, but then I noticed that if you play certain songs in winamp, the bitrate fluctuates.
you have to make sure that the song has a consistent bitrate. Those should play better in your car. |

i have this prob all the fuckin time, but when i compare that to buyin cds at 20 bucks a clip, i dont care

I noticed that those bad downloads are coming from particular swappers and each of them have the same bandwidth rate of about 832. I stay away from them and I get good songs each and everytime.

I've noticed lately that a lot of MP3s I download have this AWFUL sound after a few seconds or at the end. I thought it was some new anti-pirating device on CDs that they are being ripped from. It really sucks because it's a HORRIBLE sound. I download MP3s but I also buy a ton of CDs... so I don't feel guilty about it at all. I just like the MP3 convenience for my PCs.
