the only way to use the search term suggestion tools to estimate domain type-ins is to type your domain into the suggestion box..

i usually multiply any of their #'s by 5-7 times to estimate total term typeins/month for all english engines

and BTW ... need a tissue dude? you can't get upset over ppl here rippin on you bro. There are nothing but assholes here. If you want friendly folks ... go to the nolabelsnolimits.com board ... Darren loves everyone

about 10% on highly searched term, very little on low volume terms. Many other variables as well...

Hi Meeyatch and Scorpion3600,

Thanks for your input.

Meeyatch I will check out that board too.

You are right of course about some of the folks on this board and I normally ignore them. Just let my guard down a second I guess.

Gfy has some perls of wisdom here n there. The problem is its like your dog ate the perl neclace and you have to follow it around for days and pick through the shit to find the perls.
What can one expect from a place called Go Fuck Yourself right?

Anyways, thanks for the ideas.

All the best,
JoeS

never buy long domains for typeins...

goddam I was stupid in my earlier days...

18,000 searches a month on Mass Lesbians...

so, I bought masslesbians.com and masslesbian.com....

I think I get about 10 typeins a month.. w00t!

The Door Swings both ways

but to answer your question, the search term suggestion is just that. a suggestion as tohow many searches in the displayed month for each term, its not type-ins, its searches done on only overture's sites. not google searches aol searches or altavista searches. just overture.

now that doesnt mean how many hits you will get if your placed in the 1700th position, for that term you get 0 hits. if your #1 count on 80 to 90% depending on your description.

so search term suggestions only work with search engine placement, nothing else
