Seems we will need to found something else fast... |
Those of use who make good cash with quality traffic dont need to use popups. I for one HOPE popups are eliminated. It will help ad rates.

Oh no, what's going to happen to all the cheap popup and popunder traffic I buy?
|
Just make it impossible to get to the content pages with
the blocker on. Surfers will still put up with porn popups, they're just tired of X10 cameras.:thumbsup |

I found a single pop-under a good marketing practice but for sure endless exit and trying to trap the customer is just crazy...

I'm surprised that people aren't making more of a big deal about this... It's surely going to affect payouts for PPS programs.
|
There's different ways to get a new browser window, etc... than just a simple pop-up. I've seen it done plenty of times even when I had google tool-bar on and activated.
|
Man this worries me, would seriously effect some of my operations. But like ZakAttack says, there is more than 1 way of generating a popup codewise.
|
Someone will find a fix for this, they always do.

Fuck I made money selling programs that disable popups.

Necessity is the mother of invention. We'll find another solution I'm sure.
And even if we can't code our way around it....all we have to do is open all of our content in a new window and they'll have to turn the blocker off to get the content |

So more work for the surfer. As we all know the adult sites are allways the first to make new things and then mainstream site sees that the adult biz are going around the popup blocker, they will follow |
