SilverCash announcement
Got this in my e-mail:

I think this is intended to paysite owners who have cross-sales that go to Silvercash and they no longer want these types of members. Only direct joins, no more cross-sale joins.
WG |
If I remember correctly, Silvercash and Cybererotica are the 2 companies that started cross sales.
Is Cybererotica doing away with them as well? |
Basically what it means, the cross sale joins they receive are not retaining as members and they are worth less than the $15.00 they pay out.
So instead of working on the members area to increase retention, they are just doing away with cross sales... That is what I got out of it..... |

And I imagine the reason is more likely connected with the upcoming Visa regulations. It's much easier changing the members area than keeping visa happy. WG |
Let me rephrase my question.
Silvercash is one of those sponsors who spawn multiple consoles. The first has your ref code in it, the rest have their own ref codes to other programs most of us already belong which they get 100%. Does this mean that we will no longer get credit for the single pop-up that has our ref code on it? All pop-ups from this sponsor now go to themselves? That is my question. That is the type of sponsor I am removing from my pages. |

Mardigras.. Nothing in our program for regular webmasters is changing. This announcement was only intended for those paysite owners who send us cross sales through Paycom.
And Polish and WG are right. It has to do with Visa Regs.. The cross sales charge back much higher then regular joins and we need to make sure we are under the 1% Mike |
Mardigras...cross sales and consoles are two totally separate things. It doens't affect you.
What's funny about this is I remember a few months ago when Boss Hawg started a thread talking about what would happen to the industry if/when cross sales went away. Every program owner and rep came in that thread and swore that cross sales had nothing to do with chargebacks, and a few actually said that CB's on cross sales were lower than on regular sales. Boy isn't everyone singing a different tune now. |
