Ok here's the deal....I'm looking for good livecam software.

I need a system that streams the feed to a server from where
the stream is being duplicated to the clients.

I checked out emulive but I run into problems as I use remote
desktop which runs in 256 colors I can't run the emulive package
because it requires 24bit color mode. The server itself runs in 32
bit color mode but I can't use it over a remote admin connection
which makes it completely useless.

Any suggestion or software recommendations would be highly appreciated.

There are things you didn't address like level of security, your desired platform to run under.. etc.
