My thoughts: Diane Sawyer would make for some great mature content.

I thought the interview covered all the bases. Jessica Lynch is really cute and came across as being sweet and sincere. Her injuries are very serious...even worse than I had thought...and I learned that she had re-enlisted with the promise of duty in Hawaii...but then Iraq happened.

Ok.. sure what happen to her is horrible... anyone remeber Vietnam? POW's..? They had alot worse treatment and alot less sympothy:( Im not trying to put one above the other.. i just think its amazing how the media can sway public emotion and reaction, and empathy.:2 cents:

I think she was upfront and honest! It was nice to see her tell the truth about what really happened. I sure shows you on how much you can trust our media.

Half the people on this board didnt finish high school, let alone learn anything while attending it.

She had to be admired for not trying to take credit that she didn't feel she deserved..

as well as being honest in her account of the ambush..

She pretty well called the gov't and the media a bunch of liars for their portrayal of her as going down fighting.. emptying her gun on the iraqi soldiers.. yada yada..

The Washinton Post is the one that broke the story and is the one that hyped it...as "going down fighting" etc. based upon "sources" and no one knows what "sources" or if the "sources" even existed. The rest of the media...not to be left out of the picture...joined in the hype. The government did not hype her story but did hype the "rescue"...to some extent...and with cause. The cause being that it was the first sucessful extraction of a POW held in enemy territory...since the Second World War.
