IE help...
When I click on a download link it doesn't ask for a location to put the file in and downloads in to a temp folder...
how can I change that? |
Didn't you get screwed with that scumware link earlier? it's not because of that is it?

I have never had this happen to me. If you are convinced its just a browser setting just go back to the default settings. Tools--Options--Advanced--Restore Defaults.
Work back from there. |

What does it do when you right click and click save target as. That should prompt you to choose a folder.
Make sure you did all the basics as well. Clear the cache and reboot the machine if you havent done so. |

You can try going to Explorer (NOT IE)
then Tools->Folder Options then File Types find zip, and click on restore defaults? |
