whitehouse.com

Was having a flashback and decided to check out whitehouse.com
Why haven't the masons like destroyed this guy?

George Bush doesn't mind whitehouse.com being a porn site that's awesome.

When the Lewinsky scandal broke out I registered clintonexposed.com

Although NSI let you slack for like a year on domains back then, the domain remained registered to me for 5 years and networksolutions told me I wasn't allowed to delete it.

Nobody at Network Solutions would let me delete the domain though I had never paid for it. Someone must have thought I had something to put on the site.

does the whitehouse.com dude surf gfy?

He has bigger problems. Congress recently passed a "deceptive sex domains" law that clamps down on domains that look non adult but actually has adult content.

The Zucharini/cupcake dude who made millions in domain/typo squatting was the first to go to jail... Perhaps, the whitehouse.com guy may be next.

The guys name is Dan.

He has some good lawyers.

I should go register forbidencity.com and build a chinese porn site. Thank you for the info!

hyatla 11-10-2003 05:45 PM

I get the feeling that domain law was written specifically with whitehouse.com in mind.

Yep, I believe it was a "rider" provision.

I cant believe it is still there. I would be to paranoid to have a born site called whitehouse.com

PSD 11-10-2003 06:48 PM

You will notice there is no adult content on that domain. When you enter the site it redirects to a similiar domain containing the word sex which the law specifically excludes as being misleading.

evildick 11-10-2003 06:51 PM

They redirect to whitehousesex.com last time I checked, as JCK mentioned.

Whitehouse.com (one of our processing merchants) does quite well and they do visit GFY occassionally. He also owns many other exceptionally lucrative domain names.

odd since theres been so many sex scandals involving presidents, you'd think that this guy might just be left alone...

well the story I heard is it has nothing to do with The Whitehouse.. but I belive her name was Marry Whitehouse... she didn't like porn so much, so the guy that owns the site named it after her.. :1orglaugh
