Fake referrers in logs?
 

Something I've never quite understood...how a site can show as sometimes being a heavy referrer in logs without linking to the page in question? ie joebloggs.com can show as sending 5k but when you check the source there's no images or pages from your server called by htmp, java or otherwise. Needless to sat they also burn little BW as they are not true visitors.

Just wondered how they do it. It can sometimes be useful ;)
