Who the fuck is JP MEDIA LTD???
 

So its the weekend and I'm doing my books, and I notice some charges on my account from JP MEDIA LTD.
I have 2 @ $25 each on 10/17.....1 @ $25 on 10/21.....and another for $29.95 on 10/30.

Now paycom, ibill, ccbill, etc....I recognize those on my bank statement.....these people I've never heard of.
So I call the 1-800 number on my bank statement, and the rude bitch there tells me that these are for website subscriptions, but she can't tell me for which website(s).
She then proceeds to tell me that maybe I should close my bank account since I don't recognize the charges......and that this is a customer service number BUT they don't handle customer service for the merchant that charged me. I have to call a different number to talk to them. (Of course she has the number to call, but still won't tell me who that merchant is)

I called the other number, and got voicemail....the voicemail didn't give the name of the company, just the name of the guy who was supposed to answer that phone.

I'm about 2 minutes away from calling my bank and hitting them with 4 chargebacks (on a Mastercard no less)
NOT because I don't think I made the purchases....I very well may have.....but because nobody can tell me what the fuck they're for and I can't account for the charges properly.

What really burns me is instead of trying to help me, she tells me to close my bank account so I won't get charged anymore.
Then she tells me that they process for over 1000 merchants, so she has no idea who these people are. What the fuck kind of operation is this????

THey are processing the cards through PSW Billing.

They raped my card over a 3 days period and I investigated this. All the charges are carried through PSW Billing. I was billed for Viagara, I reckon I had purchased enough Viagara to get a group of blue whales hard!

Well now this makes more sense....my russian submitter account is billed through PSW billing.....that's $25 a month......why they billed me $25 3 times I have no idea.....but my statement used to say PSW on it, so I knew what it was for.

I have a card just for buying stuff over the net and there is a very small limit on it, I only ever use this one just in case. Lokking at this thread makes me feel i didi the right hing in setting that up.

Ok now that I looked shit up on PSW's site.....the 29.95 was for SEguru's site. No problem.

The only other thing they have listed under this account number is my russian submitter account.....$25 a month.
It would be nice to know why they billed me for it 3 times.

Same thing I do. I have a Visa bank card for the account and leave enough in it to cover any net charges I might make.

You know they'd save themselves alot of trouble by not changing the billing descriptor on your statement. Especially with recurring transactions.

The least they could do is have the site owners post something in the members area telling people that their statement will show "BLAH BLAH BLAH"
