Zoolander is awesome. I think you might need to at least spend some time in L.A. to really appreciate it, but it's great. It's not nearly as unrealistic as it seems to the people who don't know. And yeah, how terribly fitting that scene people like Paris would be in the mix, haha...

Sooo many people hate that movie, most likely cause they dont understand it.. I think it's great, I even have the DVD.

My dad was a pretty successful model. He worked with Christy Brinkley in the early days and had a whole mess of ads in magazines like GQ. Still he never had anything positive to say about that industry.

I understood it, and I still hated it. I don't even think I managed to crack a smile throughout the whole thing.

I guess I have a lot of 'friends' in the mainstream model business out here, and I built some of the big agency sites and stuff. I'm not sure the movie would be as funny, if I didn't know people who really are exactly like that. But yeah, I could see how some folks wouldn't get it or enjoy it or whatever. I liked it. It was funny on so many levels.

Spent 5 years with a commercial production company and spent a lot of times with talent/models and zoolander was dead on.

The biggest idiots usually were guys...in fact most of the women I dealt with were very professional and business oriented.

One of my favorite experiences was this young kid we flew in from New York.

he goes out to Venice Beach to score some weed...leaves it on the night stand in his hotel room and apparently the maid stole it.

This kid actually went downstairs asked for the manager and told him..."One of your maids stole my weed."

They just told him to walk across the street and complain to the Santa Monica Police.

Milla Jovovich is so incredibly hot in that movie!

zoolander was hilarious, but i can understand if people didn't like it.

i think if you like monty python it's more like their movies.

anyways, the movie was blah ... the blonde dude (forgot his name ..... uhhh the broken nosed guy from that movie where he was the pilot .... uhhh )

anyways ... that dude outperformed Stiller in that movie and it was the first evidence to me that Will Ferrell would never make it as a Marquii actor ... he reall yneeds support . the old chool movie proved that as well. His new movie ELF .. PLEASE!!!!! Looks lame as fuck

AND he will be playing Darren in the Bewitched movie (originally Jim Carrey was cast .. dunno what happened there) Nicole Kidman is gonna play Samantha??!!! Weird.
