i have a 90 gallon tank, it has 1 fish left in it, all my limited edition goldfish died off left with 1, i had this white one with black eyes, was cray as hell.

i might switch to salt water but dont know if i want to take the time to watch it.

i had a 10 30 60 and the last one i had was a 100 gallon salt water tank. But got rid of all of them. I am planning on getting another one soon somewhere around 500 gallons and have someone take care of it for me :thumbsup

I think they stopped importing them after Chinese(asian snakeheads) began popping up in the wild.

What kind do you have? I had a red-line snakehead years ago - the thing was a fucking beast. Only fish I ever had that was more of a pig was a bumblebee grouper (and I only had that sucker about one month before I brought his ass back - I had no clue they grew to over 500 pounds).

Rictor 11-08-2003 04:03 PM

I had a 40 gallon fresh water tank. I kept it going for a few years but emptied it when we moved into our current house. Cleaning the tank, checking the water purity, and keep the fish healthy got to be more of a headache than it was worth. I would have tanks all over the place if I didn't have to maintain them myself.

OPHIOCEPHALUS WRAHRL, not a fish i would like to play around with. They have bitten me, i had to go to hospital directly.

I was cleaning and they though my hand was food. I didnt have a chance to remove my arm. They are so fucking fast.

But its fun feeding them :)

Used to have a 180 gallon tropical marine on a Tunze resevoir.. full coral ecosystem, ran itself. Wave machines triggered by light sensors and automated cooling. :thumbsup

Some of the fish in it were:
Twin spot wrass
Emperor angel
Copper band buterflies
Yellow tangs
Regal tangs

Man, I used to love that shit.. I'd take acid and just stare at it for hours! Sold up when I moved to Italy :(

VeriSexy 11-08-2003 05:11 PM

Hindsight 11-08-2003 05:40 PM

Go for a twin spot wrass if you can get ur hands on one.. they just have amazing personality (for a fish), it collect stones and builds up a pile in one part of the tank, and then every night as the lights dim down it dives into the ground and sleeps in teh sand below the pile of rocks... looks amazing. He was my favourite by far.. I bought him for about $60 and he was two inches long and he grew to about 10 inches... no-one fucked with him.

Tangs are cool for sure, on their back tail they have a little slit opening and when i danger can flip 180 degrees in direction to escape and at the same time a fucking razor blade comes out of their slit slicing up anyone getting in their way.

I also had a cleaner wrass, these little guys clean the big fish by pecking away all the algi from inside their gills... the big emporer angel would just lay their motionless as he was cleaned... no shit man, the other fish would queue up waiting for their turn.. literally queue up!

Man I miss that shit loads..

To start with though, tangs are quite easy to keep.. I'd definately recommend them, stay away from butterfly fish for at least until you have a good idea of what ur doing.. otherwise your throwing money away, they die all the time.. but once you get the balance right they're beautiful fish to have, I had a group of copperbands and they looked great all swimming around together. Vagabonds are ace too.

Piranhas fucking suck! Not to be mean or anything.
Unless you have like 40-50 of them. Piranhas are a tetra. Tetra fishes are just regular fishes....but once you have enough piranhas that they become a group then they are dangerous..not otherwise..

Try snakeheads, trust me on this one.
You īcant even fucking put your hand down in the water...if you do they come and attack :thumbsup

brand0n 11-08-2003 09:50 PM

ThePornPusher 11-08-2003 09:58 PM

I am! I will have a site up within the next few months. I am sure many of you will be ordering what we have. We offer a home aquarium, that comes complete with a water fall and surrounding rock walls. The rock walls are made out of cement. We have yet to make these full time, once we do the website will be up and will be able to ship anywhere in the U.S. :)

AM Jeff 11-08-2003 11:15 PM

Well..here are some of mine.

I am waiting for my order on a 220G tank I order from Tencor.
Supposed to be here close to Christmas.
Built my own Kalk Reactor, Skimmer and etc..waiting for my new tank to get here.

One tank, I have a 75G SPS tank. Everything in there started from a 1-2' frag. I have either sold off or traded. The Clove you see (waving looking thing) is now totally encrusted on a large rock. Once a month. I peel off some and take it down to trade or sell at our Local fish store. I been trying to locate some purple purple acro's, but price is either too high or just shit quality.

Smaller 38G tank is used for breeding my Tomato Clowns. I only have one pic of it.

The 75G tank is sps tank and has a pair of spawning Tomato Clowns. When my new tank gets here. I'm gonna get set up to try and rear the maroon clowns fry.
But, don't wanna take on too much at once until the new tank gets here.

Anyway..here are a few my pics of my tank.

Jeffs SPS tank.
